Henry
Alvarez has always been a huge fan of the early horror films
and the latex "monster" masks that were based on
them, which he found in the ads of the classic "Famous
Monsters of Filmland" magazine.
Later
on in his career, he was introduced to a community of fans
who cherished and collected these masks as well as newly sculpted
versions of both classic and modern monsters. His background
in realism lent a new level of detail and quality to the mask
industry which opened the door for other notable artists to
bring their talent to the market.
He
continues to produce new and original collector's masks.
