In
1981, Henry Alvarez's career took a new direction. Through
networking, he became involved in the special effects film
industry and was hired as sculptural designer for Rob Bottin
Productions.
For
the next 13 years, his abilities as a sculptor reached new
heights of achievement and helped set new standards for effects
work. His work is well known among the effects community and
is highly respected for his knowledge and skills.
Although
his interests and work have taken him into other directions,
he is still often called upon for his experience and abilities
by the Film & Television Industry.
He
has also mentored severel new artists who are currently in
the effects field.
